It appears the group led by Chris Hansen and Steve Ballmer attempting to buy and move the Sacramento Kings to Seattle are doing everything in their power to sway the NBA ahead of Wednesday's vote to decide the Kings fate.

What I love about Chris Hansen the most
is that he is clearly extremely confident that should this team end up in Seattle it will be a very, very competitive and well ran team and therefore highly profitable. If he wasn't, he would not be so aggressive and willing to overpay by such a number as he is. He believes hes going to bring an NBA title to Seattle come hell or high water. Got to give him respect.

What I love about Chris Hansen..
Is that he is able to dupe the public into building a place to house his business. A business in which the lowliest worker is a millionaire. All this while a suitable building exists for such sport but for some reason it does not please him or his players.

He is not going to bring an NBA title to Seattle he is going to bring ANOTHER nba title to Seattle we already won one in 1979 and the championship trophy sits proudly at the MOHAI. We want another trophy to sit right next to it.....I love the tweet from KD with the gold plated Sonics cap on it saying he still has much love for us and we have much love for you too KD....he is a free agent in 2016 and he needs to ditch Okieville and come home....Phil Jackson is waiting for the decision so he can become the President of the new Sonics....Lets all keep the hope and the fight

If I'm reading this right, the Maloofs would still own the team but would move it to Seattle? I don't like that idea one bit. The Maloofs are idiots, I don't want them running anything in Seattle. Everything they touch fails. Even with Hansen having a 25% share, the Maloofs would be a disaster in Seattle. They ran the Kings into the ground; highest ticket prices in the league, highest beer & concession prices in the country, they owe money to every contractor in Sacramento and the players hate them. No thank you, just stay in California, we don't need your problems.

I know Hansen really wants this team, but we can't let him make a deal with the devil, it's still our city, isn't it?

@ hectic cant you read between the lines? Dude its just part of the plan. He gets the team in seattle then buys out the maloofs. And if he does only buy the 20 percent he would own 27 percent right. Since he already bought a small share of the team about a month ago. Wich would make him a majority share holder to work with the maloofs on moving the team.????

What about this; Maloofs move the team to Seattle and one nano-second later sell the team to Hanson. The Maloofs are done with Sacramento & they don't want the Kings, they want the Hansen Team's money.

How will this BOND funded project cost the average taxpayer? They will implement what is called a STADIUM TAX which means only the public who attend the games or otherwise utilize the facilities will be forced to pay said taxes. I personally will never pay to watch an NBA game live so will never submit one penny of my hard earned cash towards the stadium tax, will you?

    Eta Huinya.
Its the old slight of hand trick. Its easy if you take the scam step by step. First get the county(king county) to "over pay" for land or anything in this case the land for triple the price in a down economy. Chis just tripled his money. Whoo Haaa for Hansen. Now next Set up a "phoney" bond fund for 200 million borrowed from tax paying public? Whoo Haaa Jack pot agian for Hansen that will go right into his pockets. OK "Eta" now all the "revenue" that the new arena brings in goes to pay off the phoney bond fund so no moneies go back to the tax paying public just the bond holders get paid off. So add it all up Hansen Triples his money on land deal plus 200 million of tax payers monies goes right into his pocket for the phoney bond fund setup. Hansen cashed in 400 million. Plus all the up keep on the new arena paid for by the tax payers. Cost for any new arena up grades for the arena Tax Payers. Sweet deal for Chris. Bad deal for the tax paying public.

    Quoting the Bible?
That irrelevant book of stories that only ignorant sheep believe in as some have so often stated? But it's good to use when a point needs to be made or some higher power authority is needed to legitimize an opinion. Right?

How dare you ridicule the bible and the people who believe it. I guess this is your way of "tolerance". This story is about basketball. Comment on that.

    Enginerd.....Do I speak falsely?
I did not say I believed that about the Bible. But is it not true that some people often state the Bible is an irrelevant book of stories? Yes or no? And don't people use scripture to try to make a point or legitimize an opinion even when it comes to the purchase of an NBA team? That was my point. I wasn't ridiculing believers, I am one! So tell me about tolerance.
