    HOLD THE PHONE....
So if Mike Florio says something, then you can take it to the bank! This guys holds more weight behind his name than Lombardi himself. Look at these Hawk fans ALWAYS trying to find someone agreeing with their reach picks. Just live with it all off-season and take it for what it is, a blatant reach on a player ranked 64 one day before the draft. Now if he turns into the best pass rusher in this draft class... THEN you can justify the pick. He better play better then every other pass rusher in this draft class or its gonna look real foolish in 3 years, cause its already looking like the biggest reach of the first round by far.

    You're still
basing your opinion on what the media thought they knew. Florio is trying to tell you what teams in the NFL thought — not typically something they let on to Mel Kiper about...

    who cares
what anybody thinks, that is who they wanted and they got him nothing else matters. If he plays well great if he doesn't oh well we are not the coaches or the owner of the team.

Yeah I agree with Florio because his expanation has always been truly regarded as the media trying to protect itself; the term "reach" sounds like a neurotic way of looking at different players whom you did not account for-the media rarely "scouts" a player, and we know they are not experts at all. They just get to talk to people we don't and since we already know about the Jets' "cursing out" of the Seahawks, it makes more sense than not. I am willing to let the guy play a whole lot before giving him my fan's vote "peanut gallery award", cause after all, fans are who we are, and I refuse to look for reasons to be pessimistic when no such reason exists; give the kid a chance to prove himself before the sad-eyed puppy face takes over.
