What can Eric Wedge try next?
Eric Wedge sat back and observed in his first season, but that was clearly a temporary state of zen, and the bubbling anger that he kept below the surface may have come back in spades in his second campaign.

    Moves
I would be so excited that I might pee my pants a little if I saw either one of those lineups. I know I gave away the managerial postion to bugemont1234 over on Shannons blog, but I take it back. Salk, by the powers vested in me, I now make you the M's new manager. I honestly would like to see any combination of moves. This team is built for constant tweeking until they find the right recipe.

    Ichiro
I don't understand why Ichiro would intentionally harm the team. I think that the fact that folks believe this shows that there is still a level of ignorance about Ichiro, even after 10 years.

Salk don't give away the Mariner's secret.
They are just not that good. Doesn't matter what wedgy does. Box full of tools that are kinda messed up. I say retool that team and start over.

    Release Brendan Ryan
He is 1/2 of a major league player on a team that has the second worst Batting Average in the AL. Why is this team ok keeping players who hurt the team and have no future on this team? $9.00 beer + $20.00 parking to see this tool anyone?

    Release Chone Figgins
Oh yeah release this failure as well, Chone has no future in Seattle and the team cannot keep pretending he does.

    Heres an idea...
It might send a message if he decided to use his DH on a position player instead of the pitcher. It would be the ultimate humiliation and just might stir a fire. The reality is that you can only do so much with inferior talent. As Beavis and Butthead once said, "You can't polish a turd".

My take on what's really wrong with this 2012 Mariner's.
I feel very strongly why the Mariner's aren't producing. I've heard it several times on the sports radio shows that the attitude in the club house is very strained and not together. No camaraderie!! Do you remember our 2001 year? What a year that was! The team was supportive of each other. They patting and hugged and screamed at good plays. They had camaraderie!! Why isn't there some camaraderie in the clubhouse? I feel this is where some of or most the problem is. We might as well shut off our TV's again this year.

    Leadership
Is there an official Team captain? They looked like they wanted to hurry up and get out of Boston.

    The Plan...
The Mariner fans start a petition to make it so any company with an antitrust exemption MUST be owned by a resident of this country. As long as this franchise is owned by a foreign owner that does not care about the team, this team willbe a loser. I don't care if you have the line-up of the 1927 Yankees and Sparky Anderson as your manager. These players WILL NOT play for an owner they know does not care. They will try, but they are missing the edge required of a championship franchise.

Relax, we can't beat Texas, realize it, and have fun with this team!
Texas wins the division. Anyone who doesn't believe this, well, you might know something I don't about Baseball. But, relax, hope to finish above Oakland and the Angels. I no longer think this club needs bats, they need to see some at bats. I see hope in several hitters, everyone except Chone. Saunders is ok, hope not gone, Casper needs some at bats, and get Liddi in the game!!! Ackley and Seager must play! Pitching is ok, Where have you gone, Doug Fister, Jesus loves you more than you may know, wo, wo, wo. Doug Fister move to Detroit tested every Mariner fan's heart to the MAX! Fister was the real deal, Jack. The Fister deal and the Figgins signing makes me doubt trader Jack! Shall I ramble some more; no, a 3 game win streak in Cleveland would heal many wounds.
