    Darwin award.
Motorbike riders will always tell you its the other drivers on the road that make it dangerous for them, but of the three motorcycle accidents that I have witnessed so far, 2 fatal, all have been the fault of the rider.

Feel for the family, but if you grab the bull by the horns, you sometimes get gored.

These bike riders need to know.
Car vs motorcycle = not good for motorcycle. Ride on the defensive. Please!.

As if riding sensibly and safely wasn't dangerous enough already
You do the stupid, there should be no surprise that this is the likely result. Being moronic enough to injure or even potentially kill an innocent...well, that's why THIS ending is for once poetic. In the Big Scheme of Things, cleaning out the gene pool a bit was not a bad thing, despite the pain and emotional suffering for this idiot's loved ones.

    how is this any different
than someone who seeks their thrills climbing mt. rainier? i'd argue doing wheelies on a crotch rocket has a better survival rate than 1/3000, making it safer than climbing our beloved iconic mt. and after two weeks ago the endangering others on the motorbike argument doesn't work.

    1000 Ways To Die
I just love that show and this story should be on it. I'm sure this isn't the first time this idiot has pulled this sort of thing. It also reminds me of a story in Sports Illustrated a while back. They were talking about amputee golfers. The golfers dealt with their afflictions by having a sick sense of humor. Being an amputee myself, I can relate to these guys. When interviewed, many of these awkward golfers said, "You want to be a member of our club? Get a motorcycle." I'm glad no one in the van was hurt. Be safe, not sorry, you hog riders.
