AP Technology Writer

NEW YORK (AP) - Facebooks billionaire CEO Mark Zuckerberg calls himself a hacker.
For most people, that word means something malicious _ shady criminals who listen in on private voicemails, or anonymous villains who cripple websites and break into email accounts.
For Facebook, though, hacker means something different.

Hackers apparently hit Swedish government site

STOCKHOLM (AP) - A group linked to the hacker network Anonymous says it has attacked the Swedish governments website and shut it down by overloading it.
CyberForce used Twitter to claim responsibility for Saturdays attack on the website, which all departments of Swedens government use.
Government spokesman Jacob Lagercranser confirmed the website had "experienced some problems," but he declined to give further details, saying the government never comments on security issues.
CyberForce describes itself as part of the hacking collective Anonymous, which drew international attention by hacking onto a private conference call by the FBI and Britains Scotland Yard, then publishing the roughly 15-minute-long recording of the call on the Internet on Friday.

Hackers intercept FBI, Scotland Yard call

Associated Press

LONDON (AP) - Trading jokes and swapping leads, investigators from the FBI and Scotland Yard spent the conference call strategizing about how to bring down the hacking collective known as Anonymous, responsible for a string of embarrassing attacks across the Internet.
Unfortunately for the cyber sleuths, the hackers were in on the call too _ and now so is the rest of the world.
Anonymous published the roughly 15-minute-long recording of the call on the Internet on Friday, gloating in a Twitter message that "the FBI might be curious how were able to continuously read their internal comms for some time now."
The humiliating coup exposed a vulnerability that might have had more serious consequences had someone else been listening in on the line.
"A law enforcement agency using unencrypted, unsecure communications is a major fumble," said Marcus Carey, who spent years securing communications for the U.S.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) - The head of memory chip maker Micron, long known for taking risks in stunt piloting, died Friday when a small experimental plane he was piloting steeply banked, stalled and crashed near an Idaho runway.
Steve Appleton, who survived a similar crash eight years ago and had a reputation as a hard-driving daredevil, was the only person aboard the plane when witnesses said it crashed shortly after its second take-off attempt in Boise, according to safety investigators.
Appletons death was confirmed by Micron Technology Inc., the board accepted his high-octane hobbies as simply part of a work-hard and play-hard personality.

Associated Press

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Saboteurs stole passwords and sensitive information on tipsters while hacking into the websites of several law enforcement agencies worldwide in attacks attributed to the collective known as Anonymous.
Breaches were reported this week in Boston, Syracuse, N.Y., Salt Lake City and Greece.
Hackers gained access to the Salt Lake City Police Department website that gathers citizen complaints about drug and other crimes, including phone numbers, addresses and other personal data of informants, police said.
The website remained down Friday as police worked to make it more secure.
Anonymous is a collection of Internet enthusiasts, pranksters and activists whose targets have included financial institutions such as Visa and MasterCard, the Church of Scientology and law enforcement agencies.
Following a spate of arrests across the world, the group and its various offshoots have focused their attention on law enforcement agencies in general and the FBI in particular.
The group also claimed responsibility for hacking the website of a Virginia law firm that represented a U.S.
