Post Season Begins Tonight

Just when you thought you never had to be annoyed by Tajuan Porter and his uncanny ability to hit every shot he takes when playing against the Cougs, you get one more opportunity tonight!
The Cougs and Ken Bone and the Ducks and their lame-duck coach tangle in the 8-9 game of the Pac-10 Tourney tonight at 8pm in the Staples Center in LA.
The Cougs have won the past two years when these two teams have faced each other in the Pac-10 Tourney, so lets hope that trend continues tonight.
The two teams matched up just four days ago, with the Cougs putting in an uninspiring performance in a 74-66 loss.

Thompson, Casto and Moore Earn All Pac-10 Honors

Klay Thompson was selected to the All Pac-10 First Team, DeAngelo Casto was named as an All Pac-10 Honorable Mention and to the All-Defensive Team and Reggie Moore nailed down All Pac-10 Freshman Team honors today.
Thompson, despite his shooting woes of late, is still 3rd in the conference in scoring at 19.6 points per game.

Staying Positive!

Did you guys see that game?! Sweet! The energy of Mac Court on its last night of Pac-10 basketball only added to a display of basketball so awesome James Naismith himself showed up at half-time to get a pic with Ernie Kent and Ken Bone for his Facebook page.
Sure, the Cougs lost again, this time 74-66, but thats not the point - the point is, with this loss, they earned themselves an extra game! You got it, folks, you get the opportunity to see the Cougs play on Wednesday of the Pac-10 Tournament.

Cougs Head To Corvallis

The Cougs take their 6-10 Pac-10 record to Corvallis today to take on the 7-9 Oregon State Brother-in-Laws.
Both teams are jockeying for position in the Pac-10 tourney, trying to avoid the 8 and 9 spots in the standings so they dont have to play on the first day of the tournament.
Currently, there are four teams who could end up in that game, WSU, OSU, Oregon and Stanford.

Dancin Dawgs Come To Pullman Today

The Dancin Dawgs will bring their massively underwhelming road show to Pullman today, hoping to get just their 2nd win away from home this season.
The game is at 7pm and will be televised on Fox Sports NW.
The UW won the first match up this season, which is not exactly surprising.

Senior Day On Saturday - Heres To Nik!

Theres one upper classman on this years Cougar squad, and hes a senior, a four-year contributor and is one win away from tying the most wins by any individual athlete in school history.
Nik Koprivica - a tip of the crimson cap to you, sir!
The Serbian lefty committed to Tony Bennett and the Cougs back in 06 after stellar prep career, starring on his nations U-14, U-16 and U-18 national teams.

Welcome Back, Mr. Moos!

Aaahhh, what a glorious day!
WSU President Elson Floyd introduced Bill Moos as the Director of Athletics today and I think I speak for quite a few Cougar fans when I say, "WELCOME HOME!"
Floyd cut to the chase and immediately stated that Moos will be the 3rd highest paid AD in the conference, making a base salary of $455,000/year.
