Forecasters say there’s currently a ridge of air moving in over the region that’s expected to cause some instability as it meets up with moisture. The temperature at Sea-Tac Airport reached 88 degrees Wednesday afternoon, tying the record high set in 2004.
The National Weather Service says there have already been strikes in the Olympic mountains, the Cascades, and in King, Pierce, Lewis, and Clallam counties.
