The SPD Blotter reported that three women and two men were arrested during the protest, for an assault on a police officer, failure to disperse, and obstructing and resisting arrest.

The protest took place in the 1500 block of 4th Avenue, where about 100 people were blocking traffic before police ordered them to disperse and move their protest to Westlake Park and out of the street.

Seattle Police Detective Patrick Michaud told KIRO Radio that most of the group obeyed commands to disperse, save for a small group that ended up scuffling with officers.

One officer injured his ankle in the scuffle and was transported to Harborview Medical Center.

The five arrested individuals were booked into King County Jail.
