10-year-old girl found; Amber alert canceled

UPDATE, 4:02 p.m. — The Amber Alert has officially been canceled. 10-year-old Alissa Helmandollar and her mother have been located in Cheney, Washington. The mother has been taken into custody, and the child is safe.
An Amber Alert was issued Wednesday afternoon for missing 10-year-old girl, Alissa Helmandollar, last seen March 20, 2019 in Nampa, Idaho.
Alissa was last spotted at a hotel with her mother, Brooke Helmandollar, 41, Tuesday afternoon. Authorities believe they left the area either Tuesday night or Wednesday morning, and are possibly headed to Portland, Oregon.
The alert notes that Alissa “may be in danger due to Brooke’s recent threatening behavior” toward the child. Brooke and Alissa are believed to be in a silver 2018 Nissan Sentra, Idaho license plate 1A909DF.
Anyone who sees either Alissa or Brooke should call local law enforcement. Tips can be phoned into the Nampa Police Department at 208-465-2206.
