A suspect in a threat against Bellevue College was arrested Thursday evening, located by Duvall Police.

Bellevue College issued an emergency evacuation alert to students and staff Thursday following a threat made by email, announcing that its main and north campuses would be closed for the remainder of the day and evening.

The alert asked that everyone “depart the campus in a safe and orderly manner, but remain alert and cautious.”

The incident initially stemmed from a disagreement in class on Wednesday. A subsequent threat was made by email Thursday, leading to an evacuation “out of an abundance of caution.”
