1. Dates/Eligibility. The Teacher of the Week Contest (the “Contest”) begins March 1, 2015 and ends May 31, 2015. 710 ESPN Seattle (the “Station”) may change the dates and/or terms of the Contest, including canceling the Contest, without prior notice. Any material changes will be broadcast on the Station and posted online on a page at www.MyNorthwest.com (the “Site”). The Contest is open to all legal U.S. residents eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry residing within the State of Washington. There is no purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase a contestant’s chance of winning. The Contest is void where prohibited by law. Employees or agents of the Station, Bonneville International Corporation, Washington State Employees Credit Union (“WSECU”), any entity associated with the sponsorship or administration of the Contest (collectively, the “Sponsors”) or any other television or radio station that transmits a signal for reception anywhere within the State of Washington, as well as members of the same household of any such employee or agent, may not participate. Winners of any contest or promotion conducted by the Station during the thirty (30) day period immediately prior to the start of the Contest may not participate.

2. How to Enter. Beginning March 1, 2015, and continuing until approximately 11:59 p.m., Seattle time, May 31, 2015, contestants can mail their entry to “Teacher of the Week” at 1820 Eastlake Avenue East, Seattle, Washington 98102 or submit it through the Site. Submissions must include a short essay (the “Essay”) which should contain maximum 500 words and tell the Station why the nominated teacher has made a difference in their school or community, and why he or she deserves to be the “Teacher of the Week.” Submissions must be accompanied by the following information: Name, address, day and evening phone numbers, date of birth, e-mail address, the name of the Teacher being nominated, the nominee’s school, the school’s city and phone number, and the entrant’s relationship to the nominee. The Station may discard any entries that it deems suspicious, objectionable or in poor taste, as determined by the Station in its sole discretion.

3. Selection of Winners. The Station will randomly select a total of twenty-four (24) winners during this contest from all eligible entries received by May 31, 2015. The Station will attempt to contact the winners using the information provided on the entry form. If the Station is unable to timely contact the winners, the Station may discard the winner’s entry and select another.

4. Prizes. Twenty-four (24) prizes will be awarded in the Contest. Each prize will consist of one (1) $500 classroom grant and two (2) tickets to join all of the Contest winners at a Seattle Mariners home game against the Colorado Rockies on Sunday, September 13, 2015. Winners will watch the game from a suite at Safeco Field and will have the opportunity to meet Mariners broadcaster Rick Rizzs. The approximate retail value of each prize is $750.00. Each prize does not include ground transportation to or from Safeco Field, travel insurance, parking fees, meals, merchandise or souvenirs, local or long distance telephone calls, tips, gratuities, service charges, taxes or any other cost or expense not expressly stated. The Station reserves the right to substitute any component of a prize with a component of comparable value should the first component be unavailable. Prizes are not transferable, subject to substitution by the contestant or redeemable for cash. Prize winners may be required to complete an IRS Form W-9 and may receive an IRS Form 1099-Misc.

a. Other than the prizes described herein, contestants will not receive any compensation as a result of their participation in the contest.
