One dead, man in custody in Redmond shooting

A 48-year-old man is dead after a domestic violence shooting in Redmond.
Redmond officers were called to the scene in the 6200 block of 154th Avenue Northeast at 6 a.m.
Police said there was a family disturbance involving a firearm and there is no threat to the community.
The victim died at Harborview.
A 33-year-old man is in custody. His relationship to the victim is not yet known.
The gun has been recovered by police.
James Perry with Redmond police said nearby Benjamin Rush Elementary was placed on lockdown as a precaution.
