As heard:
During a pre-Super Bowl news conference where he explained that it means, "Stay ready so it ain't no gettin' ready."

How to use this Lynch-ism in your everyday life:
When you're giving advice to your kid as they prepare for the SAT and need stay focused. "Be S.R." The phrase:
"Stay in my own lane."

As heard:
The phrase was heard during Super Bowl media day, when Marshawn Lynch was avoiding talking to reporters. He was hanging back when NFL Network correspondent and Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, started talking to him. Among Sanders' questions, was that if being in front of reporters wasn't is his thing, "What is your thing?" Marshawn responded, "Laid back, kick back, mindin' my business. Stay in my own lane."

How to use this Lynch-ism in your everyday life:
This Lynch-ism is about doing your own thing and not getting into anyone else's business, so the next time someone someone asks you about gossip you'd rather not comment on, reply, "I stay in my lane." The phrase:
"I'd slam these."

As heard:
Marshawn used phrase during an interview with NFL Japan in which he sampled the favorite sweets of a few Japanese correspondents. When talking about Hi-Chews, he said, "When I kick back at the house, I'd slam these."

How to use this Lynch-ism in your everyday life:
"I'd slam these potato chips, because they are delicious." The phrase:
"I had to R.I.P. one."

As heard:
During an interview with The Barbershop on KIRO Radio, the guys asked about a nasty play in which Marshawn lost one of his dreadlocks on the field, "I lost one. I had to R.I.P. one." 

How to use this Lynch-ism in your everyday life:
When you're enjoying your lunch outside and drop a french fry on the ground. You won't be eating that fry. "I have to R.I.P. that fry."
