A power outage caused significant delays for Link light rail service across Seattle late Wednesday afternoon.
Initially, the issue was described as a “blockage on the tracks,” before a later clarification saying that service was interrupted due to an outage.
Service resumed normal operations shortly after 6 p.m.
The outage restricted the ability of Sound Transit to update rider alerts and announcements on station signs, causing significant delays in the late afternoon.
