Anybody having anything to do with the President’s Ukraine phone call will soon have to testify under oath. But Trump believes it is the investigators who need investigating.

Ross: I’m begging you, Ukraine, just find those emails

He is especially angry with Rep. Adam Schiff for summarizing Trump’s phone call as having said the following:

“‘We’ve been very good to your country, very good,'” Schiff claimed Trump said in the call. “‘No other country has done as much as we have, but you know what I don’t see much reciprocity here. I hear what you want, I have a favor I want from you though, and I’m only going to say this seven times so you better listen good.'”

That dramatization prompted Trump to Tweet that Schiff, “illegally made up a FAKE & terrible statement… It bore NO relationship to what I said on the call. Arrest for Treason?”

I assume the use of the question mark means he’s not really going to arrest Adam Schiff. But this is starting to sound like ancient Rome — I think one Caligula was enough.

Why impeaching President Trump would be unfair

And I sure hope he didn’t hear Stephen Colbert’s version.

“‘The United States has been very very good to Ukraine — I wouldn’t say it was reciprocal, because I don’t know what that word means,'” Colbert joked, imitating Trump’s distinct voice.

Totally inaccurate. But be careful with this idea that it’s treason to make stuff up, Mr. President, because that could boomerang bigly.

Ross: Are we killing car culture? Or is car culture killing the US?

I don’t think the question is whether we're going to "kill" our car culture. The real question is can we stop our car culture from killing the U.S.?
