All lanes of eastbound SR 520 near Bellevue Way were blocked Friday afternoon after a collision and ensuing vehicle fire.
The lanes reopened around 2:10 p.m.
According to Washington State Trooper Rick Johnson, the collision involved a wrong-way vehicle that hit a motorcycle. The motorcyclist died at the scene.
Drivers used the bus lane to bypass the incident. The Washington State Department of Transportation warned people to avoid SR 520 across the floating bridge, and use I-90, I-405, and SR 522 as alternate routes. Traffic backed up on to the 520 floating bridge.
