YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) — Authorities say a woman who was pulled unconscious and not breathing from a fire in a Yakima mobile home has died.
The Yakima Herald-Republic reports the woman died Tuesday in a local hospital, according to Yakima fire officials.
Her name and age have not been released.
Firefighters and police were called to the burning home Tuesday afternoon, rescued her from the home and performed CPR.
Yakima fire Shift Commander Tom Schneider says several cats and dogs inside the home also died.
Yakima fire investigators and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are investigating the cause of the fire.
