Stevens Pass ski resort finally reopens

Finally, Stevens Pass has reopened with limited lifts running at the ski resort.
Brooks, Skyline, Hogsback, Tye Mill, and Daisy chairs are open until 4 p.m. Thursday. The resort says they’ll turn on the lights for night skiing until 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 6 p.m. Sunday.
Stevens has reported no new snow in the past 48 hours, with a 32″ base. Conditions are described as “spring-like,” which means dry, sunny, and not too windy.
New snowfall is expected Saturday through Monday.
Meanwhile, the Summit at Snoqualmie’s Summit Central is open Thursday until 4 p.m. Alpental, Summit West and East are closed. The resort says Summit West and tubing will open Friday.
The Summit at Snoqualmie also has not had any new snow. It reports a 17″ base.
