We asked our KIRO Radio personalities to sound off on their New Year’s resolutions, and their answers didn’t disappoint. Let us know what your own resolutions are in the comments. Happy New Year!

Candy Harper of the Candy, Mike and Todd Show: My plan for 2020 is to write more positive reviews, and send more glowing emails to people’s bosses. I don’t know; it’s easy to complain but it takes more of an effort to reach and recognize the everyday good that’s around us.

Rachel Belle of Your Last Meal Podcast: My New Year’s resolution for 2020 is to buy a brand new car at great prices at Chevro– OK, I’m just kidding. My real resolution is to finally try and meditate, to be more mindful, to be in the moment, to be present, and spend less time on social media.

Colleen O’Brien of Seattle’s Morning News: My New Year’s resolution for 2020 is to unlearn perfectionism, practice vulnerability, and take everything one day at a time.

John Curley of the Tom and Curley Show: You know I always come up with crazy resolutions, and this year, I’m going to wear the exact same shirt to work every single day, and Jacob will put a magic marker mark on it to indicate the days. How about that?

KIRO Radio Reporter Aaron Granillo: My New Year’s resolution for 2020 is to read more literature; to read more fiction; to get away from some of the hard-hitting news that we cover every day, and just kick back, and relax with a good book.

Aaron Mason of KIRO Nights: I don’t know if you can imagine this, but combing through hundreds of news stories every day is a little bit depressing, so I need to be better at making time to do the things that bring me joy.

Tom Tangney of Tom and Curley Show: My New Year’s resolution for 2020 is to pick up every penny I see on the ground. Pennies are underappreciated, and I’m going to change that.

Dave Ross of Seattle’s Morning News: I’m going to do an hour on the elliptical three days a week. Or how about 45 minutes two days a week? How about I do 15 minutes on the climbing wall? Or maybe I’ll just eat fewer walnuts.

KIRO News Anchor Ursula Reutin: My New Year’s resolution for 2020 is to take better care of myself, and on occasion, put myself first, which isn’t always easy for me. Happy New Year, everyone!

KIRO Traffic Reporter Chris Sullivan: My New Year’s resolution for 2020 is to relax a lot more in terms of letting things just happen — don’t worry about things you can’t control, and just enjoy life as it happens.

Happy Holidays from our house to yours
