Donations have come in from more than 64,000 people, with the average donation at $18.72, and the most common donor occupation being “teacher.”
“Working families across Washington are giving $3, $18, $27, or whatever they can to help elect Bernie Sanders,” Bernie 2020 Washington state director Carin Chase wrote in Friday’s press release.
Nationwide, Sanders’ campaign has raised $25 million in January.

The new March 10 date puts Washington’s primaries ahead of 16 other scheduled primaries in 2020, and only one week after Super Tuesday.
All registered voters will receive a ballot in the mail after Feb. 21.
