The Angel Band Project has been nominated as Bonneville Seattle’s charity of the month for April 2020. Their mission is to use the power of music to provide healing, raise awareness and create positive social change for survivors of sexual violence.

The non-profit was created following a terrible tragedy with the goal of capturing the power of music to help others heal from the effects of sexual violence. A benefit album was created and helped create the country’s first music therapy program designed to treat survivors of sexual violence.

Throughout the month of April, you can show your support for survivors by taking their “Rock for Survivors Air Guitar Challenge.” For more on the Rock for Survivors campaign and additional information on the Angel Band Project, please click here.
