6.5 magnitude earthquake shakes Central Idaho

A 6.5 magnitude earthquake shook central Idaho Tuesday evening.

According to the Idaho Statesman, the shaking near Boise lasted about 20-30 seconds, beginning at 4:55 PST.

The epicenter is about 72 km west of Challis, ID, with a depth of 8.2 kilometers.

There have been no reports of any injuries.
