Seahawk Russell Wilson recently took his duties as a United Way spokesperson to Seattle’s Dunlap Elementary School.
Wilson visited Dunlap Elementary with fellow Seahawks Will Pericak, Kristjan Sokoli and Mark Glowinski as part of the United Way’s Hometown Huddle initiative – an annual event that features NFL players contributing to their local communities.
Wilson put the gardening gloves aside and tackled the dirty job with his bare hands. The quarterback planted native plants adjacent strawberries around the school.
