Thunder and lightning were reported across the Puget Sound region on Saturday as thunderstorms moved through the area.
How many lighting strikes? The National Weather Service in Seattle is keeping count. Here’s a breakdown by county through 1:45pm Saturday.
Lewis: 264 strikes
Thurston: 38 strikes
Pierce: 284 strikes
King: 230 strikes
Kitsap: 6 strikes
Snohomish: 182 strikes
Mason: 1 strike
Island: 1 strike
Skagit: 81 strikes
Whatcom: 82 strikes
