After just over a year of retirement, Seattle’s superhero, Phoenix Jones, is back to patrolling the streets of Seattle. First stop: CHOP, or CHAZ.
Why Seattle’s famous superhero Phoenix Jones is retiring
Jones posted on his social channels Friday: “I’m out of retirement. Streets need me. Seattle hold it together I’m on my way.”
It appeared that Jones was inspired by CHOP/CHAZ, where there are no police officers after the Seattle Police Department left the East Precinct on Monday.
My mission and feelings on my city.
The CHAZ army is a group exercising their right to free speech and to open carry fire arms.
I'm only going to stop crimes that put people in danger, medical calls and theft of personal property.see you in the streets. #blmseattle #CHAZ

He also posted on Instagram that he witnessed a fight in the park that involved a knife, but again, the area is “mostly calm and peaceful.”
