A tell-all book by former Presidential advisor John Bolton was originally supposed to come out on March 17, which would’ve given us something to read while we were all isolating at home.

But the White House insisted on making doubly sure that no state secrets were revealed, claiming it was “full of classified information.”

So we had to wait – but now excerpts have been released, and in listening to Ben Tracey’s report on this, I have to say, someone didn’t do their job because some pretty stunning secret information was still in it. Like this:

“Bolton says President Trump did not know Britain was a nuclear power,” Tracey reported.

Yikes! It’s bad enough North Korea has the bomb – but who let Britain get it? Well, the secret’s out now.

Bolton also reveals the note that the Secretary of State slipped him during the summit between Trump and Kim Jong Un.

“Secretary of State Mike Pompeo slipped him a note that ‘President Trump is so full of expletive,’” Tracey said.

Uh! Isn’t there enough expletive on the internet without having to put up with it in a book that could end up in American homes where little children might see it?

But here’s the biggest leak:

“Bolton confirms President Trump explicitly linked military aid to Ukraine to investigations of former vice president Joe Biden.”

How could the White house let that get out? That’s the kind of thing Presidents get impeached for!

Ross: Are we killing car culture? Or is car culture killing the US?

I don’t think the question is whether we're going to "kill" our car culture. The real question is can we stop our car culture from killing the U.S.?
