20-year-old man injured in South Seattle shooting

Detectives from Seattle Police Department’s Gang Unit are investigating a shooting that left a 20-year-old man injured early Monday morning.
Officers said they responded to a report of shooting in the 6700 block of Rainier Avenue South (Brighton neighborhood) around 2:20 a.m.
The victim told officers that he had been shot while sitting in his car but he declined to answer any additional questions. Seattle Fire medics took him to Harborview Medical Center.
A 25-year-old woman told the officers that she was standing outside of the car when a group of men approached and one shot into the car. The suspects fled the area in another car. She was injured by shattered glass.
Police say there is no description at this time.
