Both vehicles were captured on a surveillance camera near the scene in the 6500 block of 25th Avenue Southwest.

Police say they received a call Monday around 6 p.m. that there may be a deceased person in the bushes along the street. Officers arrived to discover a 34-year-old man, later identified as Derrick Lacomb, who was deceased.

Detectives believe the driver intentionally struck and killed Lacomb, and then fled the scene. They’re asking to talk with anyone who knew Lacomb or have any information about the incident or the vehicles.
