Ross: Tough questions for both candidates on ’60 Minutes’

Last night, we saw the 60 Minutes interview that the president cut short because he didn’t like the way he was treated.
“I wish you would interview Joe Biden the way you interview me,” Trump said.
So I listened closely to the Joe Biden interview that followed …
And when the issue of China came up – he got fact-checked by Norah O’Donnell:
“We have a trade deficit that’s larger with China than when we were there,” Biden said.
“Actually, that depends on how you calculate it,” O’Donnell said. “The overall trade deficit with China was slightly lower in 2019 than it was during the last three years of the Obama administration.”
And when Biden talked about his plan to make college affordable:
“I can send every single qualified person to college in their state for $150 billion.”
He got fact checked BY HIS OWN STAFF:
“After our interview, Mr. Biden’s staff told us he misspoke and that the cost of free public college might be twice as much as he said,” O’Donnell clarified.
O’Donnell then highlighted running mate Kamala Harris’ liberal record:
“You supported the Green New Deal, you supported Medicare for All, you’ve supported legalizing marijuana.”
… And asked Biden if maybe the president was right that he’s a liberal in disguise – at which point Biden addressed the president in his Halloween voice:
“Mr. President – you’re running against Joe Biden,” he said, using a creepy voice. “Joe Biden has a deep steep and successful record over a long, long time.”
Terrifying countless small children!
No, if 60 Minutes was in the tank for Joe – they have a funny way of showing it.
