Update: An Amber Alert has been canceled for a 3-year-old boy missing from Snoqualmie Sunday night.

KIRO 7 reports that the boy, Maximus Woodward, and his mother, Morgan Cooper-Mcwade, were found in Black Diamond shortly after the alert was issued.

The Washington State Patrol has issued an Amber Alert for a missing 3-year-old boy out of Snoqualmie, Washington.

He may be traveling in a 2019 silver Volkswagen Jetta with California license plates 8KPJ094.

Police say the mother of Maximus Woodward kidnapped the boy Sunday from his father’s residence. They say she is prohibited from having contact with the child per court order. It’s believed that the mother, Morgan Cooper-Mcwade, and the boy may be with Edward Carte, who police say has made threats to kill the child’s mother and children.

Maximus Woodward is described as a Native American male with brown hair and brown eyes. He’s 3’6″ tall and weighs 40 pounds. He has long hair to the bottom of his back. He was last seen wearing a black leather vest, red sweatshirt and dark blue jeans.

His mother is 28 years old. She is white with blonde or pink hair with green eyes. She is 5’6″ tall and weighs 185 pounds. Police say she has a spider web tattoo on her chest. Was last seen wearing a black sweater and blue jeans.

Edward Carte is 39 years old. Police say he’s white with brown hair and hazel eyes. He’s 5’7″ and 180 pounds.
