Spring brings tulips and new events in Anacortes

For miles on end, vivid tulip bulbs will bring pops of bright colors for all to enjoy and to welcome in the new season. The annual Tulip Festival and Tulip Town is a must see. To keep up with tradition, this year’s Tulip Festival will be a drive along viewing opportunity so guests can enjoy the colorful landscape from the comfort of their vehicles. Can’t make it to the festival this year? Worry not, as there is festival kick off live on Facebook April 1st and virtual participants can share experiences by uploading photos to the official Facebook page. Ready to experience some spring in your life? Get away to Tulip Town with family and friends to take in the views before the fleeting tulip season comes and goes.

The Anacortes Chamber of Commerce, in an effort to support local businesses, created Sip & Savor Skagit, a gift box featuring local foods and wines available for pick up in April. Each box includes items like salmon, chocolates, fudge, cheese, honey, oil & vinegar, Tulip Town products, coffee, wine tumblers, and more.
