Seattle police think they might have broken up a teenage fight club at Golden Gardens park over the weekend.
The department reports on their police blotter that officers came upon a group of about 40 juveniles in the Golden Gardens upper parking lot just after midnight. They were cheering for two or three other teens engaged in a fight.
The crowd scattered into the woods when officers sounded their siren and flashed their lights, leaving behind beer bottles and other garbage.
Police ticketed the few cars left in the parking lot after closing time, but none of the fight clubbers emerged from the woods.
According to the tongue-in-cheek police blotter, the incident proves once again teenagers are not ready for rated R movies.
