As KIRO Radio reported last September, the people of Spokane are choosing a new flag to wave high over the capitol city of the Inland Empire.
In the past six months, organizers and online survey participants winnowed down a vast and colorful pool of 300 entries, and now just 12 potential new flag designs remain in the running. To participate in the final vote, a valid Spokane Public Library card is required; with that card in hand, follow this link to log-in and cast your ballot. An alternative process is available for members of the Spokane Tribe to vote as well.
The deadline to vote for Spokane’s new city flag is the end of the day on Sunday, May 2, 2021. The winning flag design will be announced later this year.
