There is no replacing Rush Limbaugh. Rush was and forever will be the best broadcaster in history, not only for conservative talk, but radio in general. He is why KTTH exists.
And now we have someone to take up the fight that Rush started.
Now we have someone who is going to take up that mantle. Someone who will fight for your freedoms, our freedoms, stick up for us, and do it in an entertaining way.
KTTH has a new host joining the KTTH family from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
“What an honor! I’m glad you said that [about Rush],” Bongino told the Jason Rantz Show. “There’s no replacing the Godfather, Rush. It’s not possible. … He was the best player in the game from 30-plus years.”
Bongino is already one of the most listened to podcasters in the country. He’s now bringing that to a nationwide audience, talking directly to people who live in Western Washington.
“What I do with my show is I try to interweave my experiences in the Secret Service, having been a political candidate for the U.S. Senate in Congress, also having been a police officer,” Bongino said. “… I try to weave those in with narratives. I don’t just tell you stories to tell you stories.”
Bongino said he works hard and respects his audience’s time, which has certainly paid off. The one-time political candidate began making appearances on FOX News and has since grown his podcast to 117 million downloads.
“It’s the audience. It’s not me, it’s an incredible audience. I try to explain it to them on the show because I don’t want them to ever, ever think that I take them for granted. They are just the most amazing people,” Bongino said. “They’re just the most loyal people and that’s why I’m so passionate about not wasting anybody’s time. They don’t owe us anything.”
