Three felony charges have been filed against the man accused of stealing a Seattle police officer’s car moments after she was killed in a roadside crash.
King County prosecutors say 49-year-old Roger Lee Owens, Jr. was driving a stolen U-Haul and caused a crash along I-5 on June 13.
Owens told police off-duty officer Alexandra “Lexi” Harris had stopped to help him when she was hit and killed by another vehicle.
