Two gas leaks shut down streets in the Puget Sound region Thursday — one in Bellevue and another in downtown Seattle.
Bellevue
A gas line break in Bellevue Thursday afternoon shut down Bel-Red Road between 132nd Avenue and 134th Avenue. The street was reopened around 3 p.m.

A construction crew was working in the area and hit a PSE service line. PSE came to the scene and shut down gas for the line.
Seattle
There was also a natural gas leak in downtown Seattle around noon that shut down streets around 4th Avenue and Yesler Street. Those streets have now been reopened after the Seattle Fire Department responded. The gas leak has been capped.
