Talk about scalding hot coffee: Everett police have arrested three baristas for putting on strip shows at their coffee stand.

The arrests followed a two-month long investigation prompted by complaints from a number of people who saw far more than they wanted.

“We have no problem with what they were wearing. It was what they were taking off while they were serving coffee,” says Everett police spokesman Aaron Snell.

Snell says video surveillance revealed in some cases, the baristas weren’t even making coffee and simply took money to perform strip shows.

The baristas work at two different Grab-N-Go coffee stands at 2030 Broadway Ave. and 333 SW SE Everett Mall Way. They’re accused of violating Everett’s Adult Cabaret law.

Detectives are continuing their investigation and looking into whether the owners were involved.

It’s not the first trouble for Grab-N-Go. Several baristas were charged with prostitution back in 2009.
