No injuries or spills are reported after a train derailed near the Port of Tacoma early Tuesday afternoon.

Fire crews say a Burlington-Northern Santa-Fe locomotive hit a power pole on Port of Tacoma Road, knocking down power lines.

Utility crews are working to fix the downed power lines and restore electricity to some businesses at the port.

There is no word yet on why the train derailed.

This is a developing story.
