With the first preseason game for the Seattle Kraken just three days away, the team hits the ice for its first practice Thursday, and fans will get to see the players in action.

The newest NHL franchise released its training camp roster Tuesday evening, just two days ahead of the start of the Kraken’s inaugural training camp at the Kraken Community Iceplex at Northgate.

Kraken Community Iceplex at Northgate opens to public Sept. 10

All fans attending training camp at the Kraken Community Iceplex will be required to follow COVID-19 protocols. That means masks are required, and fans must show proof of vaccination. Anyone who wants to visit the iceplex at Northgate for other events or just to shop at the team store do not need proof of vaccination at this point.

The team will only have a few practices under their belt before the first preseason game Sunday against the Vancouver Canucks in Spokane. The full Seattle Kraken training camp will take place from Thursday through Monday, Oct. 11, with six preseason games taking place along the way.

Ahead for the Kraken are three “home” preseason games in Spokane (Sept. 26), Everett (Oct. 1), and Kent (Oct. 2). Those games will require proof of vaccination upon entry for all fans age 12 and older.

Climate Pledge Arena, Seattle Kraken will require vaccination for guests 12 and up

The team’s first regular season game is on Oct. 12 in Las Vegas against the Golden Knights. The first regular season home game for the Kraken, which will be played at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, is against the Vancouver Canucks on Oct. 23.
