If you missed KIRO Radio’s Halloween special this year, a live performance of Agatha Christie’s “The Murder of Roger Ackroyd” — or if you just want to hear it again — you’re in luck.

On Oct. 26, some of your favorite voices from KIRO Radio performed a special show live on air, presented by the Museum of Glass, Seattle Radio Theatre, and Town Hall Seattle.

The KIRO Radio cast depicts the eerie story of the 1939 Orson Welles’ version of Agatha Christie’s, “The Murder of Roger Ackroyd.”

Using the original script presented by CBS on KIRO more than 80 years ago, this story re-creates a spooky murder mystery. Featuring live sound effects creating a creepy mood, the action unfolds across the airwaves in the “theatre of the mind.”

Voices include Dave Ross, John Curley, Colleen O’Brien, Ursula Reutin, Gee Scott, Chris Sullivan, Aaron Granillo, Lisa Brooks, Nicole Jennings, Charlie Harger and KIRO 7 TV’s Nick Allard. Featuring live sound effects by Curtis Takahashi, and music recorded by Joel Baker. Audio and program engineering by Andrew Endzell and Josh Harstad. The program was produced and directed by KIRO Radio resident historian, and Seattle Radio Theatre founder, Feliks Banel.
