Update (7:21pm): The Amber Alert has been cancelled after 15-year-old Catharine Guitierrez was found safe.

Original Story:

The Washington State Patrol (WSP) has issued an Amber Alert for a missing child that authorities say might have been abducted unwillingly.

15-year-old Catharine Guitierrez was last seen Thursday, Sept. 8 around 4:30 p.m. when an altercation occurred between her mother and the suspected kidnapper, 53-year-old Alejandrino Soriano. It is believed that Catharine is with Soriano unwillingly.

They were last seen at NE 58th Street in Vancouver, Wash. driving away in a blue Honda Accord, with an unknown license plate.

Catharine is described as 5-feet-1 inch tall, 215 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray ‘Class of 2021’ hoodie, blue jeans, and white Air Force shoes.

Alejandrino Soriano is described as 5-feet-6 inches tall, 185 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

If anyone has any information about either Catharine or Soriano’s whereabouts, the WSP is asking them to call 911.

This is a developing story.
