Anacortes Christmas Tree...

Celebrate Christmas in Anacortes!

Bier on the Pier

Come celebrate Anacortes’ 11th annual Bier on the Pier! Bier on the Pier takes place on October 7th and 8th and features local ciders, food trucks and live music – not to mention the beautiful views of the Guemes Channel and backdrop of downtown Anacortes. Bier on the Pier, which has sold out over the past few years, is highly anticipated and it’s no different this year. Tickets start at just $45, which includes entrance, a commemorative 5-oz tasting glass, and more! With over 30 food and drink vendors to choose from, Bier on the Pier is a must attend event.

After the festival closes, take a stroll through historic downtown Anacortes to find unique shops, live music at multiple venues, and ciders from the festival featured in restaurants. One day in Anacortes just isn’t enough – we hope you make it a weekend! Anacortes has a wide variety of hotels, local inns, and bed and breakfast locations.

Coastal Christmas – All December Long!

It might be a little early to hear sleigh bells ring, but when it comes to the holidays, it’s never too soon to start planning!

Jingle all the way to the Anacortes Chamber of Commerce for the Coastal Christmas Tree Lighting, which kicks off the month long celebration on Saturday, December 2nd! The Tree Lighting family friendly event features live music, guest appearances from Santa and Mrs. Claus, hot cocoa, and festive cheer. The Anacortes Coastal Christmas Tree will shine brightly all month long. Coastal Christmas fills the entire month of December with holiday cheer and features special events such as parades, holiday markets, trolley rides, and more!

On Saturday’s, a trolley goes up and down Anacortes’ main drag, Commercial Ave.

Just a week later on Saturday, December 9th, come enjoy the spirit of the holidays at the Wonderland Walk at Washington Park! The campground will be decorated with holiday cheer by local groups and organizations, and there will be live music, campfires, and hot chocolate.

We recommend you bring a flashlight to guide yourself through the event and to see all the walk has to offer!

Charm Walk

The Charm Walk is a great way to explore all of what downtown Anacortes has to offer! Visit a mix of vintage shops, boutiques, coffee shops, eateries, and more to collect charms and complete a charm bracelet! To participate, you’ll first pick up your bracelets at the Chamber office during business hours. You can also have your bracelet shipped to you before the event. Upon getting your bracelet, you will also receive a map of the many different Charm Walk participating businesses… each one will have a unique charm to collect! Complete your bracelet to keep or give as a gift! To learn more, register and ensure your place, click here.
