UNITED NATIONS (AP) — In a story published October 17, 2022, about the United States and Mexico preparing a U.N. resolution that would authorize an assistance mission to Haiti, The Associated Press erroneously reported that Haiti is Latin America’s poorest country. Haiti is in the Caribbean.
