Car fire cleared as I-5 traffic returns to normal

Update: 7:10 a.m.: All lanes have been cleared on I-5 with traffic returning to normal.

A car is on fire on northbound Interstate 5 near Interstate 90 blocking multiple lanes of traffic and slowing traffic to a crawl for early morning commuters.
The Washington State Department of Transportation says drivers should expect delays.

The right lane of the mainline and the left lane of the ramp are both blocked.
WSDOT warned drivers about the fire around 6:15 a.m. and has not said when the road will be cleared.
