WASHINGTON (AP) — In a story published July 15, 2023, about Sen. Tommy Tuberville’s hold on hundreds of military nominations and promotions, The Associated Press erroneously reported that Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin called the senator Friday to discuss the matter. The call happened Thursday.
