Lululemon Athletica, based in Vancouver, B.C., has a problem with its bottom line since having to recall a popular yoga pant that didn’t cover up enough of women’s bottoms.

Lululemon says in a statement it has a problem with the sheerness in the material used for a batch of its hip-hugging black Luon pants. They’ve pulled them from store shelves and website.

“The ingredients, weight and longevity qualities of the pants remain the same but the coverage does not, resulting in a level of sheerness in some of our women’s black Luon bottoms that falls short of our very high standards,” they say.

Translation for the benefit of my male readers – considering women usually don’t wear anything underneath their Lulu’s, sheer is not exactly what we’re going for with yoga pants.

You want to see a photo of these pants, don’t you? Sorry, I live in Nike yoga pants when I’m not at work.

Lululemon estimated that the affected items represent approximately 17 percent of all women’s yoga pant styles in its stores, which will result in a shortage of the affected styles.

That has sent the company’s stock in a downward dog position.

The company lowered its expectations for the fiscal quarter. The company will unveil its fourth quarter and full-year earnings on Thursday. Lulu stock dropped 2.8 percent today.

Lululemon has six stores in Washington.
