Microsoft: most ethical company

As Microsoft continues to battle Google and Apple to gain market share in several tech categories, there is one way our Redmond-based company beats the others. Microsoft is one of the most ethical companies in the world.
About 3,000 companies were either nominated, or nominated themselves. Microsoft was among the top 100 chosen based on the company’s codes of ethics, investment in innovation and sustainable business practices and corporate citizenship.
Geek Wire, a new tech news site, points out that several other local companies made the list including: T-Mobile and Zappos.
The insurance company Aflac, which just fired comedian Gilbert Gottfried after he made tasteless jokes about Japan’s earthquake and tsunami, also made the list.
