Should the Hawks keep Hasselbeck?
The Seahawks season is over, the player are cleaning out their lockers and a new poll finds most people surveyed want to see Quarterback Matt Hasselbeck return in the fall.
Our news partner KING 5 commissioned the Survey USA poll which found 53 percent say yes, bring Matt back, 38 percent say no, and about 9 percent are unsure at this point.
The same question was put to fans a week ago, and then about 43 percent wanted Hasselbeck back, so he made some gains with fans.
If he leaves, who should replace him? In the survey 40 percent said Charlie Whitehurst, 51 percent thought somebody else should get the job, and 9 percent, again, were uncertain.
For what it’s worth, this was a survey of 482 NFL fans in the Seattle-Tacoma area.
More important, is the news that Seahawks cornerback Marcus Trufant and tight end John Carlson are returning from Chicago after both suffered concussions in Sunday’s NFC divisional playoff loss to the Bears.
