Volunteers have decorated a Christmas tree for 8-year-old Kyron Horman, the boy who’s been missing in Portland since June.
The tree is decorated with ornaments, some of which are personalized with the names of Kyron’s family members.
The tree was set up near the Wall of Hope, near Skyline School where Kyron was a student. That wall includes personal messages, pictures, flowers, stuffed animals, and other symbols meant to support Kyron’s friends and family.
Family members held a birthday party in his honor, even though he wasn’t there to celebrate. They would love to have him home for Christmas.
Investigators with the Multnomah County Sheriff’s office said they’re confident this case will be solved. They have no evidence to suggest the young boy is dead.
Still, they also don’t have any suspects named in his disappearance. Their tip line, at 503-261-2847, is still active.
