Ron Reagan stopped by today for an in-depth conversation about his new book, “My Father at 100.”
Questions about his father suffering from Alzheimer’s while in office have dominated the headlines–“Every once in a while it was as if you were watching a television that momentarily faded out of focus, and then snapped back.” But the book is also a tender, nuanced view of a dad through his son’s eyes. Ron talks about the ‘inner-Reagan’ that the public never saw, his sense of duty towards the country, balanced with the President’s own personal ambition to influence the course of history.
Plus…You’ve got to hear Ron’s great vocal impression of his dad!
